Karakuri

Hey there, just wanted to keep you posted on my projects, this one is called Karakuri, from the instructional book by Keisuke Saka. In it I learned basic mechanics and had more than my share of cutting, scoring, folding and gluing. Each paper machine functions by spinning the wheels on the sides with your finger. These were so much fun to make, and only took about 20 minutes to half an hour each. If you've ever wanted to play Gepetto, here's the closest I've got thus far. I've yet to do the ones on the cover, but got through the preliminary white boxes, on to the cute stuff!

Welcome!

Welcome one and all to Tiff-Topia. As narcissistic as the title sounds, it actually originates from the title my best friend came up with for my first possible theme park, which he thought should be Tiff-Taco-Topia (no it didn't have anything to do with tacos, much to many people's disappointment). I tell you this to ease you into the chaotic and elusive mind of myself, Tiffany Beckler. I have created this blog to chronicle my creative progress, as well as to give and receive advice when it comes to the process of creating art, ideas, and assorted creative projects. I dabble in many mediums and am excited to show you my latest endeavors, as well as call on your expertise for future ones. I love helping others, so if you are working out creative issues of your own, feel free to ask for a second opinion or advice! Thanks for visiting!
